"We hired Husband For A Day to complete a basement remodeling project that a different deadbeat contractor failed to complete. Scope of work included some plumbing and electrical, paint, kitchen installation, fixture installation, etc. The father-and-son team were extremely prompt, courteous, and professional. We had some design changes midway through the product and they were very accomidating and helpful as we worked through the changes. Their approach is "we want to make you happy" vs. "I have a deadline and I am going to do the work as quickly as possible so I can get to the next job".
Cannot say enough good about Husband For A Day, will definitely use for futuure projects, and plan to refer to friends and neighbors!"

"I used the services of Husband For A Day Incorporated for refinishing our hardwood floor. They came out on the 7th of September and finished the job on the 12th of September 2011.
They did a very nice job. They had to sand it right down to the wood. They finished the job at 15:00 on the 12th of September. They answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves. When they would say that they were going to do something then they would do it. They were very prompt. They were never late and they were always on time. They were very pleasant to work with."

"Resurfaced a spare bedroom floor, installed a new floor in the spare bedroom, and replaced a cabinet floor under the sink.
Dale arrived on time for the meeting for an estimate. He promptly E-Mailed me a written estimate. I scheduled a work date. Dale showed up ON TIME for the work date and proceeded to do the work in a professional, timely manner. He went to a home improvement store to pick up the flooring leaving his son/worker behind to work on the cabinet under the sink. The son/worker showed me how my faucet was leaking, asked for my approval to call his father to buy another faucet at the same store. Dale quoted me an approximate price, and I approved it.
The son/worker moved a very heavy desk out of the spare bedroom. He replaced the rotted cabinet floor. Dale resurfaced and replaced the floor and everything went fantastic!
Dale and his son, Doug did a fantastic job. I am very pleased. I recommended him to a friend and she was very happy with him also. I would not hesitate to hire him again."

"They snaked a drain pipe for us. They were excellent. They went way above and beyond for us. They didn't account for a leak when they took some pipes off and here was some water that got on the walls and floor with Draino in it. One of them took his shirt off to clean up the water that was going everywhere. They were incredibly professional and courteous."

"Dale performed various odd tasks around my house (replacing a ceiling fan, replacing French door hardware/handles, replacing an outdoor water spout). Dale is extremely customer centric -- he was punctual (early actually -- but called to make sure that would be OK), was pleasant, provided guidance on ordering additional door hardware items, and performed high quality work.
